What a great day out this was with John from Wild Cycles.
Wild Cycles promised a full days off road riding with one of their experience British Cycling accredited ride leaders – John in my case – and that’s exactly what they delivered.
We met at a campsite near Wendover Woods in the Chilterns, where I got introduced to John and he took me through our safety briefing, before we headed off for our ride.
There was a bit of easy road riding before we got to our start point in the woods – and then we were straight into it with a downhill on one of the off-road woodland trails.
The day was a full on mix of woodland trails, fast gravel, some great lanes, bridle paths on grass and canal tow paths – with some good gnarly hills thrown in.
Here’s just a small snippet of some of the day – but we did nearly thirty miles in total, so this is just a clip..
